Nasturtiums are annual plants characterized by their lovely round leaves and vibrant flower colors.
They can be enjoyed for their ornamental value, and both the flowers and leaves can be eaten as herbs.

This is the condition of seedlings that sprouted in the fall from summer self-sown seeds, as of November. They did not reach flowering stage as they withered with the frost, but the leaves could be harvested.

While generally spring-sown, fall sowing also seems possible.
In cold or frigid regions, sowing around June may also be possible.
