Contrabass Pickup - Maximum False Bass
29.70 $
Description
This is a handmade pickup for the double bass.
It is designed to be inserted into the gap on the wing of the bridge.
Since it is about 5mm thick, some modification to the bridge may be necessary for installation.
It's understandable why the real thing is popular for its good sensitivity to muted sounds, expansive bass, and power. Whether this pickup can achieve that is hard to say without trying it on an instrument.
It seems best not to install it too tightly.
Includes a zip tie and an arched clip for securing to the tailpiece.
It is new, only tested, but has a handmade feel.
