This is a fretless bass.

This is a custom-ordered model specially produced at the request of Mr. Fukuda, the owner of Jiraud Bass Center, who asked, I want you to make a fretless bass with Jaco sound on the Mobius.

This is a one-of-a-kind custom order, and it is highly unlikely that a unit with the same specifications will appear on the market.
This is a very rare Jaco-spec Mobius.

Thanks to Jiraud's unique deep joint construction,
there are no dead spots, and the entire body resonates firmly. Every note rings out beautifully and feels great to play.

The fingerboard is designed to be thicker than the usual fret height,
providing a natural playing feel even without frets
(see 9th photo for comparison).

By applying roundwound strings to the rosewood fingerboard coated with epoxy resin,
you can enjoy a tight and glossy sound reminiscent of Jaco Pastorius.
