Vintage Coro Sterling Mexico WW2 Era Blue Glass Brooch
Coro Sterling
During the war years, from 1943 to 1950, Coro contracted with Taller Borda Silversmiths, owned by the renowned Hector Aguilar, to produce silver jewelry. These pieces are beautifully made and hard to find. This gorgeous brooch features a huge deep aqua blue faceted glass stone in a floral design. The brooch is rose gold plated and measures 4 by 1 1/2”. It's signed Coro, Made in Mexico, silver. The clasp has been expertly resoldered at some time in its life. A rare and special piece.
