300 Basic Erhu Exercises (Simplified Notation Edition). This book is divided into twenty-two parts, arranged in order of difficulty between each technical item. For example, it starts with simple open string exercises like 15 strings, progresses through exercises on upper and middle positions, and then to various other tuning and fingering exercises. It covers common bowing and fingering techniques, and finally moves on to more complex and difficult string changes, position shifts, and comprehensive exercises.
