This masterpiece, also known as The Watchmen are calling or Wake, O Voices of the Watchmen, was originally composed as a cantata and later arranged by the composer for organ chorale.

Despite its relatively simple notation, it incorporates fugal elements, creating a complex sound. The sections that transition to the minor key are particularly captivating and challenging. While the sheet music is easy, achieving a compelling performance is quite difficult.

This piece is suitable for occasions such as Christmas, graduation ceremonies, entrance ceremonies, and weddings.
Ensembles are fundamental to orchestras, wind ensembles, and bands. We hope you will find this useful for practice and performances.
