Description
dd a rare piece of North Carolina history to your collection with this vintage copper letterpress printing block. Featuring the iconic UNC Tar Heel footprint mascot and Tar Heel State text, this authentic piece of antique printing memorabilia is mounted on a solid wood block. Unlike standard rubber stamps, this is a true metal printer's cut originally used in traditional typesetting. It features a beautiful, naturally aged dark patina on the wood and crisp engraving details on the copper plate. It makes an incredible display piece for a sports room, print shop, or a unique gift for a North Carolina alum. Size: Fits easily in the hand (approx. 6 oz shipping weight). Condition: Good vintage condition. The wood block shows some rustic edge wear and minor chipping consistent with its age and historical use, but the copper stamping surface remains completely intact, level, and clear. Please see photos for detailed condition.
