Pleasant to play... has that old East German tone ♪♪♪
Responds well to breath, plays beautifully from high to low notes ♪♪♪
I am no longer actively playing, so I am listing it hoping to pass it on to someone younger and energetic... If it doesn't sell, I plan to keep it and play (and clean/polish?!) it with care.
Both the rotary valves and the slides move smoothly. Considering it's unlacquered, the brass smell doesn't seem too strong (unlike some Hans Hoyer models which have a very strong smell!?).
The airtightness of the rotary valves is slightly diminished due to its age, but it is not to the extent that it affects playing (adjusted with Alisyn oil after consulting a repair shop).
As shown in the photos, there are no noticeable dents (a slight mark from dent removal on the 7th photo). Overall, it is in good condition.
Polished with deerskin, it has the dull luster characteristic of yellow brass (with some oxidation) as seen in the photos ♪
*Includes YAMAHA hard case (11th photo/the top leather has a slight wrinkle, but otherwise it is fine)
*Mouthpiece is not included
