Description

PIEPS Freeride
Avalanche Beacon

A cost-effective 1-antenna digital beacon.
It can transmit and receive, is highly portable, and its light weight makes it widely used by everyone from entry-level to high-end users.

Frequency: 457kHz
Power Source: 1 x AA alkaline battery
Battery Life: Approx. 200 hours (in transmit mode)
Receiving Range: Approx. 40m
Operating Temperature: -20 to 45℃
Weight: 110g (including battery)
Dimensions: 110 x 58 x 24mm
Accessories: Carrying harness, Japanese instruction manual

I purchased a new beacon and had this as a backup, but since I won't be using it, I'm selling it.
It has been used about 10 times in the snow.

There is some slight deterioration on the zipper slider of the carrying harness, but I believe it does not affect its use.

Operation has been confirmed with batteries inserted. (See photos)
