I love antique kimonos and obi sashes.
I am studying watercolor painting, and I am enjoying collecting beautiful colored obijime from the brand Dōmyō (道明) because I am drawn to their lovely colors.
As I do not know the exact color names, I have compared them to the color charts in Dōmyō's books.
The base color is a red with a hint of vermilion, close to ginshu (銀朱). It is a slightly lighter red than in the photos. There are striped patterns drawn with gold thread.
Please forgive any discrepancies between the actual color and the images.
There are no noticeable stains, but please be aware of some fraying on the tassels.
Please forgive any oversights.
The box has stains due to age. It will be shipped in simple packaging.
As this is a vintage item, it may have a storage odor. We are looking for buyers who understand this.
