Description
Vintage 1958 fruit-themed salt and pepper shaker set with matching tray. The base/tray is plastic, marked PAT. PEND. ©1958 M. GABY, and features molded fruit including bananas, grapes, apples, oranges, and lemons. The salt and pepper shakers are ceramic pineapple-shaped shakers. Please note: I cannot confirm that the ceramic shakers are the original ones that came with this base. They fit and display well, but originality is unknown. The shakers do not have the bottom plugs, as shown in the photos. Approximate measurements: tray is about 4 1/2 inches across. Each shaker is about 2 1/4 inches tall. Condition: tray shows light surface wear and scuffs consistent with age. Ceramic shakers show light crazing, minor paint wear, and typical vintage wear with no cracks noted. Missing shaker stoppers. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Carefully packaged and shipped. From a smoke free home!
