Noritake 'Sweet Swirl -‎ Light Blue' 7 1/2" Tall Water Goblet, Vintage

A light blue Noritake Crystal 'Sweet Swirl' water goblet. Noritake, a Japanese company founded in 1904, is renowned for its high-quality porcelain and dinnerware. In the latter half of the 20th century, Noritake expanded its offerings to include crystal glassware, often featuring elegant and contemporary designs. The 'Sweet Swirl' pattern is a notable example of their crystal production, characterized by its fluid, organic lines and often produced in appealing pastel colors. This particular 'Sweet Swirl' pattern, in light blue, was popular in the 1980s, a period when colored glassware saw a resurgence in popularity. These goblets were designed for both everyday use and special occasions, blending functional design with aesthetic appeal. The swirling motif is achieved through a molding process, giving each piece a unique visual texture and flow.
