This is a 4-panel comic strip series by Gota Yoshie, serialized in Weekly Hoseki from 1985 to 1990. This product is a bunko (paperback) edition published in 2001.
The series featuring the married couple Yukie and Isao is particularly popular, and these two volumes are compiled mainly with works featuring them. The gags primarily centered around Isao, who would often flip the table when angry or constantly ask for money, and Yukie, who would comply. However, as Yukie's childhood memories and background were gradually revealed, the story evolved into a narrative 4-panel comic. The dramatic development, progressing through Yukie's elementary and middle school years leading to the final installment, truly makes it a tear-jerking 4-panel comic. It was surprisingly adapted into a movie in 2007, starring Miki Nakatani and Hiroshi Abe.
