The Molitor by Old Town Canoe is a very elegant and high-performance wood and canvas Canadian canoe model manufactured in the early 20th century (primarily from the 1920s to the 1940s).

Specifications and Performance
Length: Primarily 17 feet (approx. 5.2m).
Purpose: Elegant touring, display.
Handling: Ahead-of-its-time hull design with excellent balance between straight-line stability and maneuverability.

While not typically listed in modern Old Town catalogs, it holds a special place in the traditional wood canoe manufacturing division as artwork for display due to its beauty, or as a custom order.
It is exceptionally beautiful and holds historical value as one of the pinnacles of canoe design of its era.
The Molitor is a coveted model among vintage canoe enthusiasts due to its rarity and beauty.

Although it has never actually been on the water,
it is made of wood and finished with fiberglass for waterproofing.

I have heard that only three units have been imported into Japan. Its curves and form are truly beautiful.
