The Denpa Shonen series (Denpa Shonen Series) is a variety show series that has been produced intermittently since 1992.
It originated from Susume! Denpa Shonen, which began airing in July 1992 on the Nippon Television network. Although initially created as a placeholder program, it gained popularity through various unconventional and daring projects by unknown young comedians, such as no-appointment location shoots, hitchhiking journeys, and prize money living. At its peak, it recorded a viewership rating of 30.4 percent, and is considered one of the programs that supported Nippon Television's golden era in the 1990s.
