Description

This is a pre-owned men's haori (short kimono jacket) hand-sewn from Oshima Tsumugi silk.

It features a 100-kikko (tortoise shell) pattern, which has been said to bring good fortune in six directions. While it may appear plain from a distance, it is a very popular design. (Please refer to the photos.)

How about this classic haori, a symbol of longevity and eternal prosperity, which never goes out of style?

・This time, we received a request from instructors of martial arts such as Kendo and Iaido for an item they could wear over their dogi (uniform) and hakama (pleated skirt-like trousers). We proposed Oshima Tsumugi, Yuki Tsumugi, Hige Tsumugi, and other materials.

・We have received requests for haori and nagagi (kimono) to be sold separately, and for guidance on how to choose the right size.
