Rare Small Vintage Wooden Dovetailed Box for Horolectric Time Motor for a Clock

- Vintage wooden box - Dovetailedon the sides but bottom is nailed on. - Was originally the “crate” that contained a clock motor. - Since this was basically a package that was usually discarded, it is something that usually didn’t survive. I have not been able to find another one searching on-line. - It is a novelty that a clock collector or repairer would enjoy owning. - It is marked on four sides with “Horolectric Time Motor” incised into the wood. - It is not a large crate size but small. Dimensions: 7 1/4” L x 5 5/8” D x 4” H Fun decorative and usable item but especially for someone interested in old clocks. CONDITION: The lettering is black on 3 sides. It was on the 4th but someone overwrote it with “1/4 x 5 1/2” painted in black. The original lettering outline is still there but not very visible. I have not tried to remove it. It is in overall vintage condition with the usual wear and use marks but that said i would considerbit in very good condition for its age and use. Except for the 4th side the letterbid very nice and clear and no major damage that you might find in a vintage crate. Questions? Leave a comment below!
