【Unused】Nihonmaru Glass Cups, Set of 6, Sasaki Glass, Showa Retro Glass, With Box, Rare

A set of 6 Nippon Maru glasses (tumblers). Made by Sasaki Glass Co., Ltd. in Japan.

These refreshing adult glasses are perfect for enjoying plum juice, shiso juice, or cold sake during the summer. We believe they are a piece you can proudly show off to your friends.

[Features]
The glasses feature a print of the Nippon Maru on the front and Nippon Maru 1984 in navy blue on the back.
There is a light blue and blue line encircling the bottom of the glass, reminiscent of the sea.

Height: approx. 10 cm, Diameter of opening: approx. 5.7 cm, Diameter of base: approx. 4 cm

[Condition]
These glasses are unused. However, one glass has a slight defect as described below, which is why they are listed as near unused.
Purchased long ago and stored in their box in a dark place without being used. Upon inspection, one glass has a small blackish discoloration on a part of the outer upper rim (Photos 10, 11). As they are unused, this is believed to be from the original manufacturing.

The rest of the glasses are in beautiful condition. Please forgive any oversights due to long-term home storage.

[Shipping]
Each glass will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap before shipping.
Due to the bubble wrap, the original box lid will not close, so the box will be slightly folded for shipping (Photos 17, 18).
We are not responsible for any damage during transit, so please be aware of this.

Similar items are no longer sold, so we are unsure of the market price, but we believe these are quite rare items.

In our personal opinion, the thick base provides a pleasant weight and a comfortable feel in the hand, creating a cool atmosphere. Items from the past are of good quality, showcasing masterful craftsmanship.

Thank you for your consideration.
