This is the Century series from Germany's Rosenthal Studio-line, known for its collaborations with emerging artists.

Designed by Tapio Wirkkala, a leading Finnish designer, it was released in 1979 to commemorate Rosenthal's 100th anniversary and was produced until 1995.
This special piece, fitting for a centennial celebration, features intricate details such as a delicate, thin construction with a perforated dot pattern inspired by sea urchin spines, three legs on the cup, and a commemorative backstamp.
