Since its debut in 1983, Porter's signature TANKER series has adopted an original fabric developed based on the U.S. Air Force's MA-1 flight jacket. The three-layer fabric, consisting of nylon twill (surface) + polyester batting (middle layer) + nylon taffeta (back), is very lightweight, with the soft feel of bonded material and the attractive bright rescue orange on the back. Every step, from cutting to sewing and parts, reflects meticulous attention to detail.
