Carbomastic 15T is a highly reliable thick-film modified epoxy resin coating in the field of anti-corrosion and waterproof coatings.

The T specifically refers to winter use (winter type), designed to cure even at low temperatures. The main features valued in professional settings are as follows:

1.  Exceptional Substrate Adhesion
    While normal epoxy paints require the substrate to be polished to a high sheen (e.g., sandblasting), 15T adheres strongly even under the following conditions:

    On strong rust: It penetrates and solidifies even in areas where rust cannot be completely removed.

    Damp surfaces: Painting is possible even with some moisture present.

    Compatibility with existing coatings: It is excellent as an intermediate or top coat for repainting, as it is less likely to damage existing paint films.

2.  Thick film formation in a single coat
    Due to its low solvent content and high solid content, a thick film of 150μm to 200μm or more can be formed in a single application. This provides long-term protection for structures in harsh corrosive environments (such as coastal areas and chemical plants).

3.  Specialized for low-temperature application in winter
    Curing performance: While normal epoxies cure extremely slowly below 5°C, 15T is formulated to promote reaction even at low temperatures.

    Workability: It has good leveling properties even in the cold of winter, making it less prone to application errors.

4.  High barrier properties
    It forms a dense coating film that is impermeable to water vapor and oxygen, strongly suppressing the progression of internal corrosion once applied.
