[Difference between Baked Akadama Soil and Hard Akadama Soil]
Unlike commonly sold hard Akadama soil, this baked version is sterile, very hard, and has a structure where the granules are resistant to breaking. This maintains good aeration for a long time and provides excellent water retention and drainage.

? Hyuga Soil: Hard pumice collected from volcanic zones like the Kirishima region in southern Miyazaki Prefecture. It has good drainage and aeration, similar to pumice or gravel. (Slightly acidic, sterile)
? Kun-tan: Charcoal made from rice husks. It adsorbs waste products and ammonia that accumulate in the bottle.
