Amigo Tomato (Medium Size) Seeds - 6 seeds
Open-pollinated variety
Untreated seeds
☆These are precious seeds harvested from plants grown using natural farming methods without pesticides or fertilizers.
■ Characteristics
Medium size, 50-80g. Thick flesh, firm, and satisfying to eat.
A fruity and rich flavor with a good balance of sweetness and acidity. Excellent for fresh consumption and also perfect for cooking.
Relatively resistant to cracking, high-yielding, and easy to grow.
Popular among natural farmers and recommended for home gardens and balcony cultivation. ?
Sowing Period: Mid-March in a warm seedbed. Mid-April in a cool seedbed.
Direct sowing outdoors from May.
Optimal Germination Temperature: 25-28℃
Growing Temperature: 20-25℃
■ Cultivation Method
Grow sturdy seedlings and transplant them when they have 4-5 true leaves to promote root development. As they tend to become overly vigorous, use less base fertilizer and moderate watering. Adjust to encourage reproductive growth until the third flower cluster opens. Growing with two main stems is recommended. To produce high-sugar tomatoes, manage them on the drier side, such as with rain protection, and reduce water intake. Outdoor cultivation is possible if temperatures are not too high and humidity is not excessive.
Since these are open-pollinated seeds, you can save seeds from them.
As you continue to save seeds, they will become vibrant vegetables full of power, adapted to your local environment.
We would be happy if you could continue to preserve these precious open-pollinated tomato seeds. ?
Seed Saving Method: Select plants with good fruit set and disease resistance. Harvest fully ripe fruits. Scoop out the jelly-like seeds from inside into a jar or similar container. Ferment for 2-3 days, then wash with water. Spread the settled seeds on newspaper or kitchen paper and dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area.
