Final Price Drop: OLDMOUNTAIN x MOTO x Takayuki Shibata K24 Pure Gold Silver
★Final price revision.
*Please note that we may suddenly withdraw the listing.
This is the Takayuki triple collaboration edition from OLD MOUNTAIN x MOTO x knife gallery (Mr. Takayuki Shibata).
This is a limited edition with extremely low production numbers. Purchased directly from the store, used occasionally at home.
It has been sharpened for this listing.
It is being listed immediately after returning from sharpening, so it is in a sharpened state. You can use it with its exceptional sharpness.
The handle is made of Ezo deer antler (deer horn), with 950 SILVER and K24 (pure gold) attached, crafted by Mr. Hideo Moto of MOTO. The opposite side is engraved with the signatures of old mountain and Mr. Hideo Moto.
Combined with the perfection of Knife Gallery's knives, this is a luxurious masterpiece that can be called a fully handmade craft, a collaborative effort by all the artisans. The price is also special (I vaguely remember it being in the high 200,000 yen range).
Furthermore, as the contact information on the sharpening guide card included in the original box case stated that they are no longer offering sharpening services, we had the sharpening maintenance performed by the 10th generation head of the prestigious Yoshisada, a family with a 360-year history in Kyoto (recipient of the Yellow Ribbon Medal).
This OLD MOUNTAIN special specification knife, with its high degree of perfection by Mr. Takayuki Shibata, has been restored with undeniable skill, so I believe it has a high-dimensional sharpness.
