[Product Description]
Thank you for your interest.
This is a vintage three-sided mirror manufactured in the Showa 30s (1950s-1960s).
It features a Mid-Century Modern style design that was popular during Japan's Westernization period, making it a rare item that is difficult to find today. The stylish striped wood grain and beautiful flared legs (tapered legs) add a retro-modern accent to your room.
■ Appeal of this item
Transformable design: When the mirror is closed, it has a flat cabinet-like appearance and can also be used as a console table.
Thoughtful storage: In addition to the left and right drawers, there is a smoothly sliding tray inside the right door, making it very convenient for storing small cosmetic items.
Proof of quality: The original SPECIAL 特撰 MIRROR sticker, a mark of the highest quality at the time, remains beautifully on the mirror.
■ Size (actual measurements)
Overall: Width 84.5cm × Depth 33cm × Height 131.5cm
■ Condition
The overall finish is glossy and in a very beautiful state.
There is some clouding on the edge of the mirror due to age. (See photo 14 for the right edge of the mirror)
There is some peeling of the decorative veneer on the corners of the top board.
The door slightly interferes with the top board, making it difficult to close.
The back and the inside of the drawers are very clean and tidy.
We would like to offer this item to those who can appreciate the passage of time unique to antiques as a charm, and who understand old tools.
