Thank you for looking. Please also check my profile.
This is a signed Chinese cleaver from Yan Can Cook, famous on US TV. Approximately 35 years ago, while I was in California, USA, I had the pleasure of meeting TV star Martin Yan and received this Chinese cleaver from him. I have kept it in storage at home with very little use, but I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish and use it, as I do not.
It seems it was broadcast in Japan on NHK BS as Yan-san no Omoshiro Chuka Ryori (Yan's Interesting Chinese Cooking). He was often compared to the former World Cooking Show for his skillful cooking while always incorporating jokes. This is the Chinese cleaver I received from him.
I will also include a guide with photos from that time.
