IKEA DETOLF with Lighting ②

This is a DETOLF glass display cabinet, discontinued by IKEA.

Purchased at IKEA about 10 years ago.

This is one of five DETOLF cabinets I own, specifically cabinet #2.

Dimensions are approximately W43 x D37 x H163 cm.

There are no critical damages or missing parts that would prevent use, but there is overall wear and tear from use and age. Therefore, please understand this is a no-claim, no-return sale.

DIY dust-proofing tape has been applied to the gaps in the glass doors to prevent dust from entering.

It includes IKEA's DIODER color LED lighting (approx. ￥4000 value), which can change colors. However, it sometimes has contact issues, so this cabinet is priced slightly lower than my other DETOLF units.

As shown in photo 5, the wiring is bundled, and it's less noticeable if you run it down the back from the top (photo 8 shows it run down the back).

Any deteriorated silicone tubes for the shelf supports have been replaced.

Currently, the door does not close with a click, but it may be fixable with minor adjustments.

As seen in photo 9, there are marks from removing the LED tape on the top panel, but they are not very noticeable unless you look up from below.

This is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such details.

It will be shipped via Ta-no-Meru-Bin (a shipping service that includes setup), so you can leave the troublesome assembly to them.

How about using it as a display case for figures or for exhibition purposes?
