This is a calorie-enhanced substrate made from 100% oak sawdust, which Great Horned Stag Beetles prefer most, and finished with the highest quality Himalayan Hiratake mushroom culture.

It is a specially selected calorie substrate where ordinary Himalayan Hiratake substrate is further micronized for easier consumption, and fortified with 3 times the amount of nutritional additives such as trehalose, glucose, chitosan, royal jelly, highly active gluten, arginine, calcium, minerals, enzymes, yeast, special amino acids, and symbiotic bacteria.

We do not use any spent substrate. Instead, we crush fresh mushroom culture made from raw sawdust and carefully ferment it indoors.

This is our ultimateこだわり (kodawari - meticulous attention to detail) substrate, triple-fermented with significant cost and time investment.

Other companies' fermented substrates use spent substrate as raw material or ferment outdoors, leading to the proliferation of unwanted insects and fruit flies.
