Purchased directly from Hypershell in June last year. The grade is XPRO, and the original price was 150,000 yen. The weight is 2.2 kg for the main unit and 0.4 kg for the battery. It has a 1 horsepower output, and you can choose between two power modes: standard and high power. It connects via an app, and you start by selecting from 10 patterns. I've only used it 4 times, so the genuine battery is like new, but there are scuff marks where the arms rub against each other when folded.
It has AI, so I think it will adapt to your body the more you use it.
The belt that holds your thighs can be adjusted in length. The genuine battery cannot be charged unless it is attached to the main unit. The manual and app are all in English, but there are detailed images, so I managed.
Hypershell is an exoskeleton powered suit that electrically assists lower body movements. It is equipped with two motors with a maximum torque of 32 N・m, and by assisting leg movements, it claims to strengthen leg power by 40%, offset the load of up to 30 kg of luggage, and reduce physical exertion by 30%.
Its most significant feature is the numerous sensors and AI-powered motion estimation engine that detect the wearer's movements and intentions to provide precise assistance.
If the assistance is delayed when walking or running, it can hinder movement, and if force is applied in an unintended direction on stairs, it can be dangerous. However, Hypershell claims to quickly detect the wearer's intentions for any movement, including ascending and descending slopes and stairs, and provide the necessary assistance.
The parts consist of a battery like a waist bag at the back of the waist, motors on both sides, thin aluminum frames along the front of the thigh bones, and belts that secure the upper knee area.
When worn, it assists in lifting the thighs and moving the legs forward, as well as in stepping down.
There are two motors, and the assisted movements are for the front and back of both thighs.
The genuine battery lasts for approximately 17.5 km of continuous use. This is calculated based on walking at 4 km/h on flat terrain in Eco mode, assuming low-load activities.
It can also be charged from a mobile battery or similar device via a USB-C port. It supports 65W fast charging, allowing it to charge to 50% in 35 minutes.
