This is a 3-piece set purchased about 10 years ago and used moderately in an indoor factory. All three items show signs of use overall, with scratches and dirt from use, and some areas with slight rust, but I believe they can still be used actively. (*^^*) The grips on all three are easy-to-handle plastic coatings, and naturally have dents, scratches, and dirt from use.
All three are KNIPEX, so their usability is outstanding. How about this set for those who want to acquire the basic tools of pliers, cutters, and combination pliers?

They haven't had much use recently and have been stored in a toolbox.
