Since we do not hollow out the wood, scrape off the bark, or shave it, we have received many happy comments that the hardness and chewability are different from other products ?

For puppies in the nipping stage and male Japanese dogs with strong chewing power, a slightly thicker size that they can barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have thorns sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so even if swallowed, they are harmless as they are from fruit trees.

We peeled the bark from pear branches grown in Niigata Prefecture one by one and dried them for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no danger of injuring their mouths, but please let them play within your sight.
Please refrain from using if your dog has fruit tree allergies.
