【Rare, Beautiful Condition】HOWE Masterpiece "40/4" Stacking Chair, Wooden Frame / Artek

Thank you for viewing.

One of HOWE's most famous products is the 40/4 stacking chair designed by David Rowland. The chair gets its name from its revolutionary stacking capability, where 40 chairs can be stacked to a height of just 4 feet (approximately 1.2 meters).
It is a unique piece that embodies Bauhaus aesthetics and a modern sensibility.

It holds the record for being the most produced steel-frame stacking chair worldwide and remains a flagship model for HOWE. However, HOWE products are primarily based in Europe, making them rare to encounter in Japan.

This wooden frame version appears to be a custom order, with a beautiful black stained finish. By opting for an all-wood construction instead of steel legs, its versatility is greatly expanded, making it an excellent fit not only for business settings but also for dining rooms and living spaces.

It is in good condition and is a superb piece that you'll want to keep as part of your collection.

Reference Price: Approx. ￥140,000
Features: Fully Assembled, Stackable
