I do Kintsugi as a hobby.
This is Suruga charcoal finely cut into needle charcoal.
Suruga charcoal is soft, so it is said that it can be used to polish rust lacquer or black lacquer during wet sanding without scratching the vessel, unlike sandpaper.
I have actually used it myself, and so far, I have not scratched any vessels.
It can be used as is for Kintsugi (I use it as is), but if you are concerned, please polish the cut surface with a whetstone before use.
It will be sent in the plastic box shown in the image via anonymous shipping.
