This was one of the earliest models from an era when car audio was booming, with Pioneer holding car audio contests and the like. At the time, it boasted the highest digital processing capabilities in the car audio world.

There was a model released before this one, but I personally studied and became deeply involved with this model, meticulously refining it. I repaired it many times. I've lost count of how much money I spent on it (lol).

Pioneer's momentum didn't stop there, with new models like the 90 and 99 following. I enjoyed their wonderful corporate philosophy. However, times change quickly. Are there no longer any car audio manufacturers solely based in Japan?! It's a shame.

I am also removing the system and selling my vehicle. I hope this can be of some use to someone.

I powered it on once a few months ago, but the head unit (RS-D7X) was broken, so I couldn't get any sound out. Therefore, it would be suitable as a junk item or for parts. Please consider it.

This is for the main unit only. Cables are not included.
