Vintage softcover spiral cookbook: Robertshaw Cook Book “Tested recipes for time and temperature oven cooking”. 64 pages ©1946 This booklet was originally published by the Robertshaw Thermostat Company in Youngwood, Pennsylvania. It was a promotional instructional guide that was included w/the purchase of a new kitchen range or oven. The Tested recipes for time & temperature oven cooking helped home cooks get the most out of their new kitchen ranges using featured recipes, baking guides, & time-and-temperature charts for oven cooking.  Some of the recipes featured are: Baked Custard, Cinnamon Rolls, Chocolate Nut Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pie, Broiled Steak, Stuffed Green Peppers, Scalloped Potatoes, Stuffed Mushrooms, Baked Vegetable Stew, Chicken Noodle Soup, Roast Turkey w/Giblet Gravy, Birthday Cake, Banana Chiffon Pie. Also lots of tips & recipes for bread making, cakes, cookies, icings & a section titled: “Easy to make Recipes For Your Little Helper”(kid-friendly).  Great 1940s era photos & illustrations. Would be perfect for a vintage kitchen cozy home decor display item.   Size:9” x 6” Vintage Condition:Good-Fair/Cover & inside pages have age-related edge-wear and evidence of water damage. Small tear at top of spiral on covers and first three pages (but all the rest of the pages are securely attached to the spiral binding). Most of the pages are in good condition w/the exception of some waviness to the pages. The text is readable & illustrations are clear & colorful.
