Purchased new from Anglers about 4 years ago and used about 3 times. The film is still remaining on the lower half.
Some corrosion and discoloration were found on the metal parts, so I applied Shimano reel grease and wiped it off.
It can still be used, but I have purchased a 5m landing net, so I have decided to sell this one.
