They are crafted from white milk glass, which was highly popular mid-century for its smooth finish and heavy, durable feel. The D Handle: The handle is specifically molded into a distinct, curved D shape, making it comfortable to hold and classic in style.The Material: Federal milk glass is semi-translucent. If you hold the mug up to a bright light, you will notice a soft, fiery luminescence along the thin edges. Care Instructions: These vintage pieces should never go in the dishwasher.
