This is a summer komon kimono.
The color is suitable for wear regardless of age.
The color in the photos is a bit more vivid navy (especially the second photo). The actual color is a subdued, slightly muted navy.
It's a bit early to list this, but if you have plans to attend a tea ceremony or other summer outing, you might feel more at ease if you prepare in advance.
The material is unknown. I think it's probably polyester.
