Candle Creations Funky Bird Candle 1970's Retro Whimsical Decor Unused RARE VTG

Step back into the groovy world of 1970s novelty décor with this absolutely charming and wonderfully weird figural bird candle. Hand-crafted with a papier-mâché style wax body in earthy olive green with splashes of bright yellow, this rotund little character stands proudly on spindly twig-style wire legs with splayed claw feet — full of personality and retro flair. The face features an expressive black beak and googly-style eyes that give this bird an endearingly quirky look that feels right at home in the whimsical folk art and novelty craft aesthetic that defined the era. The original wick protrudes from the top of the body — never lit, never used.
