Dating back to the early 20th century, these specialty dessert utensils feature a hybrid design—combining a shallow, spoon-like bowl with functional fork tines and a distinct dip cutout underneath. This unique shape was historically engineered to seamlessly slice through firm, molded ice cream or cake while easily scooping up melted cream.  Condition:  Good vintage/antique condition. The structural integrity is excellent with straight tines and no deep gouges. As expected with authentic antique silverplate, there is some light surface scratching, minor wear to the plating consistent with age and gentle use, and natural tarnish.
